JDHelicopters is progressing to improve and make changes at the Montrose Airport. New lighting, training and pilot lounge facilities are in progress.
New fuel tanks, black top and Concrete pads have been added, and will continue to expand. Outside tie downs are continually being added as required.
Sport and Ultra Light aircraft are finding there way to these facilities.
An Aeronca Chief is almost completely refurbished including floats and skies. Parts for An RV3A is starting to arrive and our winter project will soon be on the way.
Helicopter training pads, patterns and objects to move and positions to hover on with certain degrees of tilt are marked.
New tour areas close to the airport have been added, including the Nickelson and Starrucca Viaducts
